Singing Winds Food Pantry

The primary goal of the food pantry is to assist low income individuals and those facing a crisis situation in meeting their personal and family food needs.

We provide services to low-income families and individuals living in Allegheny County who are experiencing food insecurity. Although the food pantry operates in partnership with the Elders Program, the pantry is available to individuals and families of any age.

Become a Food Pantry Recipient

Once you complete a short application, requests for food are processed and packed at the Indian Center and you will be notified when your order is ready for pick up.

Food pantry participants can get an order once a month.

Food Delivery

We recognize that some of our participants may face additional challenges which prevent them from getting to the center to pick up their food order. The food bank can make arrangements to deliver food orders to those who have no means of transportation or cannot pick up their order due to age or disability.

Pet Food

Singing Winds Food Pantry understands that many people experiencing food insecurity may have pets and we can also provide food for your furry family members!

If you need food for your pet please let us know.

Clothing

In addition, we are able to provide clothing certificates for use at a local store, as well as gently used clothing donated to the Indian Center.
